ELAA CEO interviewed on ABC Radio's 'P.M.' program regarding the rollback the COVID-19 Child Care Relief Package

On Monday, 8 June, the Federal Education Minister, Dan Tehan, announced that the Federal Government would be transitioning from the COVID-19 Child Care Relief package which essentially provided free childcare to families back to the Pre-COVID-19 Child Care Subsidy system (with some relaxation of the CCS Activity Test for a limited 12 week period during the transition phase). A cessation of JobKeeper payments for childcare workers was also announced to be replaced by a 'Transition payment' to services. ELAA CEO, David Worland was interviewed on 9 June by ABC Radio's Samantha Donovan regarding the sector's reaction to this announcement.
