ELAA's 'Starting Out Safely' Road Safety Education team will be part of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) stand at this year's Melbourne Royal Show (21 September to 1 October).
Our 'Starting Out Safely' team will be on hand to provide wide-ranging advice to parents and carers regarding best practice in transportation of children in vehicles. They will be sharing the message that everybody has a role to play to keep us safe on the roads. And by keeping children in booster seats until they they are over 145cm, they will be safer. The stand has fun activities for children and valuable information for parents and carers on the safest child car seats for their children.
The Team will also be supporting the TAC's 'Keep Child in Booster Seat' T-shirt tag initiative - a great, interactive way of introducing children and parent/carers to a range of clothing that reminds parent/carers in a booster seat until they are big enough to safely transition to a standard seat belt.
The much-loved Road Safety Education duo, The Professor and ThingleToodle, will also be there with ELAA's Staring Out Safely' staff each day.
You can find the team at the Nine News Lifestyle and Local Heroes Pavilion near Gate 1 at the showgrounds.
